Failure to Recognize Fetal Distress Caused Severe Brain Damage

The evidence showed prolonged decelerations, minimal variability, and other clear signs of fetal distress were repeatedly missed or ignored, delaying the emergency delivery that could have prevented permanent brain injury. As a result of the delayed C-section, our client suffered severe hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), cerebral palsy, profound neurological injury, developmental impairment, feeding difficulties, and lifelong disability.
